The characters in the books are different from the rest of civilization, and they need to survive on their own.
This series is interesting because it's everything I like in a book--fantasy, romance, and action.

The main character doesn’t talk to people, but she does talk to animals.
The best part of the book is the horse’s sense of humour.

The story is like real life. It made me laugh.
She learns from the experience, but it has a happy ending!
